Basketball is one of my favorite sports and now I found a game that offers fun basketball gameplay. PBA Basketball Slam Mod Apk is an amazing basketball game that I have been playing for some time now. It is a 2 vs. 2 basketball game like NBA Jam but here you basically play as the top PBA teams and players. A very interesting Basketball game that offers exaggerated gameplay.

The most interesting part of the game that I liked so much is The big-headed players and stunning slam dunks which makes the PBA Slam gameplay as entertaining as NBA Jam and this made me always come back and play the game again and again. You can easily  Throw, pass, and dodge using the virtual keys. A combination of these keys enables triples, alley-oops, and exaggerated slam dunks with super cool slow-mo.

After installing the game, the first thing that you will do is create your player and choose your squad. Each player’s face is a nice touch, even though they all have the same powers and skills. The game shows their facial expressions when they perform a certain task.

PBA Slam is a hilarious basketball game with excellent graphics and touch screen action. It’s free and fun basketball game that I just recendly found.

The first thing you do in this game is to create your player by giving it a name, selecting shoes, an arena, and so on. You then pick two players from seven famous Philippine national teams with cool names like the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters and the San Miguel Beermen and build a squad. Select the quarter length, arena, and announcer languages. After that, you Play the 3-POINT CHALLENGE mode & rule the leaderboard or a 3-Point challenge with other players around the world.  Now that you understand the features of the game, let’s talk about gameplay.

PBA Basketball Slam Mod Apk offers Sharp, vibrant, and detailed graphics. The player’s heads and faces are overlaid on their bodies. It’s creepy but funny. Since I don’t know any of the PBA players, I’ll assume that these are accurate portraits that represent some of them.

Interesting gameplay

What about the Gameplay? Instead of the original NBA Jam, it’s basically Philippine-licensed 2v2 hoops. The players run, leap, and shoot with ease. NBA rules still apply 2 points for goals and 3 for 3-pointers. but when it comes to fouls it is something different. there are NO Fouls in this game but only put on court FUN. I think the lack of foul rules adds to the intensity and fun of the game.

After a certain number of shots, you can fill an “Electrified” meter and slam from end to end with super high intensity like no other. On a controller, it’s easy to walk around and follow the action. You can tell your CPU teammate to pass or shoot whenever you want. Tag mode makes switching teams smooth and easy. The game modes are fun because it allows competition for the Governor’s Cup and Commissioner’s Cup Championship! as well as all Filipipo (which is comparable to NBA Allstar). PBA Basketball Slam Mod Apk features a very funny and witty commentary that will surely make you laugh. This commentary adds to the overall fun of the game.

As for Ball Physics, it is not bad. In fact, the ball physics Around the Rim is a game highlight. PBA basketball is the opposite of Jam games, where most shots go in. Tried shots and layups usually miss as such in order To get the offensive rebound, your players should always be in a good position. The prowess of the rebound is powerful and awesome to see the player shatter the backboard.

The one thing I dont like about the game is The Too Much Player Celebration After Each Dunk. To be frank, I don’t mind a player pumping his fist or blowing kisses to the fans after a thunderous slam dunk, but stopping the game just to waste some secs on celebrations after every dunk stops momentum and slows the game down. And this is the one thing that bored me when I was playing the game.

I feel I’m forced to watch this canned animated celebration for 4-5 seconds since there’s no way to stop them. If you add celebrations, don’t let them halt the game, or better yet, let users disable them.

I don’t know why there’s no Boost option, or if there is, I can’t find it. I can’t picture the developers omitting one in this face paced Slam game.

Another issue I hope the devs fix to make defense meaningful. It is super hard to block almost all dunks.  It’s frustrating to place your player and time your jump only to have your opponent repeatedly dunk on your player even when your player is well positioned. This drastically reduced the realism of the game.

Whatever the criticism PBA Basketball Slam Mod Apk is a great game that offers  Sharp graphics, precise controls, and good gameplay. Despite their shallowness, games like this are appealing.
